Mathias is a Ph.D. Student at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt supervised by Prof. Dr. Andreas Riener and a Systems Architect at Siemens in Nürnberg. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and his Master’s degree in applied research at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt in the field of inclusion through technology. This research field tries to use novel technologies to include people with disabilities better in active participation in daily life.
He joined the Human-Computer Interaction Group at THI in February 2020, with his research focus targeting making the development of communication strategies for automated vehicles accessible for people with cognitive disabilities.
