In August 2021 Chantal joined the Human-Computer Interaction Group at THI/CARISSMA, with her research focus being the validation of driving simulators with specific regard to the demands of the research question.
Chantal is a Ph.D. student at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt and at BMW Group, supervised by Prof. Dr. Andreas Riener. She obtained both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Psychology at the University of Düsseldorf. During her master’s thesis at BMW Group, she developed an efficient approach for measuring user experience in highly automated driving systems (level 3).
