The workshop will be held at Natrium, University of Gothenburg, in the room 2122 Iapetus ALC. The workshop is scheduled as an afternoon workshop on Sunday, September 20, 2026 from 14:00 to 18:00 hrs. (after the lunch break, 12:30-14:00 hrs.). On-site registration opens at 08:00 (and is open all-day) and a coffee break is scheduled from 15:30 to 16:00 hrs. We expect approximately 20–25 participants (but are open to host more ;-)) from the AutomotiveUI community, including PhD students, early-career researchers, senior academics, and industry practitioners with expertise in human factors, human-computer interaction, automated driving, artificial intelligence, vehicle dynamics, and vehicle engineering.
Ignite Talks/Position Statements
Interested participants are invited to share their perspectives, preliminary work, ongoing research, or relevant practical experience in a short ignite presentation of two to three slides. Selected ignite talks will be presented by their authors during the workshop’s opening session, providing a starting point for the subsequent discussions and collaborative activities.
