Jan-Philipp started as an external Ph.D. student at CARIAD in April 2023. He is working on occupant monitoring and in-cabin sensor fusion. For this, he analyzes different sensors and use cases.
He completed his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering at RWTH Aachen University. During his studies, he completed his internship in the automotive sector at Reihnmetall Automotive. Thereby he dealt with radar simulation for the extraction of vital parameters.
